REBECCA BENNER
Rebecca “Becky” J. Benner, 88, of Moundsville, WV passed away July 10, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Vienna, WV.
She was born March 6, 1937 in Wana, WV; the daughter of the late Charles E. and Nellie J. Jackson Wiley.
She was retired LPN with Reynolds Memorial Hospital for over 40 years.
Rebecca was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church, Daughter of the Nile, Lady Oriental Shrine, Order of the Eastern Star #86, Moundsville where she was Past Worthy Matron and Mariam Chapter 1 of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Benner.
Survivors include her son Matt (Christy) Benner of Moundsville; her daughter, Pamela Johnson (Larry Pemberton) of Vienna; three grandchildren, Kylie Johnson of Vienna, Max Benner of Moundsville, and Sheldon Johnson of Vienna; one great grandson, Onyx.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville, WV where Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m.
Entombment in Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum, Moundsville, WV.
