RUTH WEST
Ruth Anne (Elliott) West, 95, of Wheeling, WV passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Continuous Care Center.
She was born February 25, 1930 in Elm Grove, WV to the late Russell Sr. & Lillian (Nixon) Elliott.
Ruth was a deacon at Stone Presbyterian for many years. She was a kind and generous woman that loved her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard West; and brothers, Russell Elliott Jr. and Glenn Elliott Sr.
Ruth is survived by her children, Thomas (Catherine) West, Sharon (William) Hall, Reed West; her grandchildren, Kerrie Weisenborn (Stephen Fox), Liam Hall, Emma Rine, Carrie (James) Gilson, Jane (Scott) Wiley, Heather (Bruce) Francis, Kristie Stollar, Shannon Condottore, Christal Olack, and Dean (Hope) Lantz; 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, William Elliott.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 4-8pm at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311); where services will take place at 10am on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Entombment to follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
