Betty Lou McFarland Shilling Curfman, 88, passed away peacefully at home with family on July 4, 2025, in Winter Haven, Florida.
A Methodist by faith & a graduate of Triadelphia High School Class of 1955. She worked at The Hub & Midland Finance in Wheeling, was a Homemaker, Owner of Pleasants County Insurance in St. Marys, WV & a Certified Nurse in Winter Haven, FL.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Jo Shilling; Robert McKechnie, brothers, Leo & Terry McFarland; and several nieces & nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved son Ronald W. Shilling; William S. Shilling; parents, Samuel McFarland & Martha Davis McFarland; and brothers, Frank, Arthur and Arnold McFarland.
Memorial contributions may be made to Turning Point for God or St Jude.org in honor of Betty's lifelong compassion.
A Memorial Service and interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel, 1526 National Road, Wheeling, WV on August 30, 2025 at 11am. Online condolences may be expressed at www.kepnerfuneral.com.
