Kathryn Elizabeth "Katy" Wilkinson, 84, resident of Wheeling, WV, died on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling.
She was born in Wheeling on November 27, 1940, daughter of the late James William and Virginia Mae Daugherty Bonar.
Katy was a retired clerk in the x-ray department at Ohio Valley Medical Center and East Ohio Regional Hospital, where she worked for over 30 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and enjoyed going to her grandkids sporting events.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank David Wilkinson; grandson, Samuel Irvin; brothers, Thomas and James Bonar; sister, Laura Ray.
Katy is survived by her children, David A. Wilkinson (Patty), Lisa A. Basinger (Tommy), Jeff S. Wilkinson (Debbie) and Deborah S. Irvin (Mark); grandchildren, Tucker Wilkinson (Jen), Jack Wilkinson, Cade Freeman, Joel Basinger, Jackie Saseen (A.J.), Cross Wilkinson, Cole Wilkinson, Taylor Wilkinson (Stephanie) and Alex Irvin; great-grand children, Bodhi and Asa Saseen, Raeya and Ryder Wilkinson, Laeken and Lia Wilkinson, and Beau Irvin; sister, Bonnie Cottrill (Ralph); sister-in-law, Judy Wilkinson; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be held at Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.
