VIRGINIA ROGALSKI

Virginia A. Rogalski, a devoted mother and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, at Belmont Manor in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Born on June 7, 1936, in Wheeling, West Virginia, she lived a full and meaningful life of 89 years.

Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Anita (Niehaus) Yates; her husband, Walter F. Rogalski; her infant daughter, Lisa Rogalski; her sister, Alice White; and her brother, Paul Yates. She is survived by her loving children: Ronald L. Crook, Jr., David A. Crook, Laura A. Birch, and Sharon (Tom) Phillips. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Sarita Lindenthal, Ruth (Norman) Broski, and Nancy (Larry) Watson. Virginia was a proud grandmother to three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and five great-great- grandchildren.

Her life was centered around her family, and she took great joy in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Virginia was a faithful member of the Elm Grove United Methodist Church and actively participated in the Elm Grove Civics, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to her community.

A service to honor Virginia’s life will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Elm Grove Chapel, located at 154 Kruger St., Wheeling, WV. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the service at 1:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Deb Dague. Interment will take place at Park View Memorial Gardens in Wheeling, WV.
