Donald "10 Foot" Francis of Sand Hill, WV, passed away August 29, 2025.
Born on September 4, 1940, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, JoAnn (Matleck); his parents, Cecil and Janie (Wilson); his brother, Richard Francis; sisters, Grace Francis and Ruth Ann Albert.
He is survived by his twin sister, Doris Cowan; daughter, Kathleen Francis; and son, Duke Francis.
Donnie was a retired coal miner of 35 years, a farmer and a well-known Sand Hill socialite. He knew he lived a blessed life through hard work, good friends and a loving family. He had a lot of fun and great memories.

A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
