KATHRYN NARDO

She was born September 1, 1932 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter to the late Harry Elliott and Teresa Ann (Velkovich) Richardson.

Kathryn graduated from Saint John Central in 1951 and enjoyed all of the good times and memories she shared with her classmates.

Kathryn was a retired employee of Convenient Food Mart at Shadyside, Ohio and The Hig Mart in Key, Ohio. She also worked alongside her husband Joseph Nardo at Tip Top Cleaners for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Shadyside Ohio.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nardo, an infant daughter Jennie Nardo and her two brothers Richard Elliott and Louis Elliott.

Surviving are her sons, Dominick Nardo of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, Perry Nardo and his wife Jayme of Shadyside, Ohio and Christopher Nardo and his wife Kristen of Wadsworth, Ohio.

Kathryn was a loving and proud grandmother to her five grandchildren, Matthew (Emily), Bryan (Emma), Luke (Mikayla) Andrew (Baylee) and Sydney (Peyton).

Her love for her family can be seen through the eyes of her eight great-grandchildren; Joseph, Dominick, Samuel, Elijah, Gianna, Rowen, Macy and Beau.

Aunt Kathy will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Sunday, September 21 from 4 to 8 pm and again on Monday from 9 to 9:45am. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 7:45pm.

Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 22 at 10:00 am at the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio with Fr. Daniel Heusel, the Celebrant. Interment in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
