LINDA BARNEY

She was born January 14, 1942, in Bellaire, Ohio, the daughter of Munsey A. and Jeanne G. (Staskey) Marsh.

Linda attended West Liberty University. She studied French in Paris one summer and had traveled around the world. She was a high school Language Arts Teacher and later worked in the Kiowa County Clerk’s office. She had lived in Glen Dale, West Virginia and Greensburg, Kansas since 1981. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Greensburg. On May 12, 1981, Linda married Bob Barney in Glen Dale, West Virginia. He survives.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.

Funeral services and Celebration of Linda’s life will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ted Skalsky presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, at Fleener Funeral Home.
