ROSALIE McLAUGHLIN

She was born in McWhorton, WV on April 7, 1924, a daughter of the late Francis and Ester (Powell) Farley. She was a longtime member of the Moundsville Baptist Church. Rosalie was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother and found joy in raising her family. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifford W. McLaughlin; her son, Andrew McLaughlin and four siblings, Thomas Farley, Francis Farley, Eileen Paith and Mamie “Lo” Arnold.

Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Judy Ann (Dale) Allen of Oklahoma; one sibling, Sue Simons of Moundsville; her sister-in-law, Sheila Simmons; five grandchildren, one step-grandson, nine great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 12 pm until time of service at 1 pm at CARE Funeral & Cremation, 1500 Second St. Interment will be held at Powhatan Point Cemetery, Powhatan Point, OH.

Contributions may be made to the Moundsville Baptist Church in honor of Rosalie.
