SHARON WILSON

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Sharon S. Wilson, who passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025 at the age of 75.
Born on August 31, 1950 in Glen Dale, WV, Sharon was a woman of quiet strength, unwavering love, and boundless generosity.

Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of many with her kindness and compassion.
Sharon was not only a devoted mother but a cherished grandmother whose presence brought warmth and joy to every gathering.
Her grandchildren will remember her for her comforting hugs, delicious home-cooked meals, and the way she made each of them feel uniquely special and endlessly loved.
She is survived by her three daughters, Kim Pierson of Moundsville, April (Andy) Hogan of Bethany and Ella (Micah) McCardle of Wheeling; two sons, Troy Wilson and Jesse Wilson, both of Glen Dale; mother, Alberta Wood; twelve grandchildren, Ronnie, Kristina, Hannah S., Okey, Tom, Micah Jr., Mela, Maverick, Hannah M., Emma, Justice and River; seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Mary Lou Patterson of Akron, OH and Roberta Burge of Moundsville; three brothers, Orval “Rocky” Wood, Charlie Eckhardt and Robin Wood, all of Moundsville; and several nieces and nephews. Her legacy of love, resilience, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. While our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grateful for the many beautiful memories we shared.
