CYNTHIA ICKLER

Cindy was born February 16, 1963 in Wheeling, WV to the late James Sr. & Florence (Sinn) Howell.

She was a member of West Liberty Christian Church. Most of all she loved her family and loved being a Grandma. Cindy didn’t know a stranger and could talk to anyone.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, James Howell, Jr. and Matthew Howell; her nephew, Scott Hanlin; and her Father-in-law, James Ickler.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Darrell Ickler; her daughter, Brittany (Colton) Link; her grandson, Lane Link; her sisters, Kathy (James) Stahl and Sandy (Bud) Hanlin; sister-in-law, Jeanne Howell; mothers-in-law, Helga Ickler and Ann Ickler; brother-in-law, Troy Ickler (Georganne); sister-in-law, Michelle (Chase) Orum; her nieces, Alyssa (Chas), Cara (Mario), Holly, April, Melissa, Jessica (Mike), and Kamryn; her nephews, Brian (Trista), Jacob (Hope), and Hunter; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm and then again on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 11am until time of service at 12pm, at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311). Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
