ANNE D. PERHACS

Anne D. Cicale Perhacs passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2025, at Welty Home For the Aged in Wheeling. She was one hundred years old.

Born in Follansbee, WV, she was a daughter of Nicola and Ida Romagnoli Cicale and Antoinette Cortez Cicale.

Anne graduated fourth in her class from Follansbee High School in 1943 and attended West Virginia Northern Community College.

Anne was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-seven years, Joseph P. Perhacs, and by her son Jeffrey J. Perhacs. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, David and Father Henry (Hank) Cicale, her sister, Lucille Mae Cicale, and her great-grandson, Donovan Doyle.

Anne retired as a clerk in the engineering Department of the Weirton Steel Corporation. She was a member of the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church in Weirton and Saint Jude Roman Catholic Church in Glen Dale, WV. She was also a member of the Christian Mothers and Altar and Rosary Society.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Judy Perhacs (Pat) Doyle of Glen Dale, WV, and two grandsons, Jack (Tammy) Doyle and Danny (Kathleen) Doyle, both of Wheeling, and great-grandchildren Patrick, Rayna, Charlotte, and Jack Doyle.

A Memorial Mass for Anne will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Saint Jude Roman Catholic Church in Glen Dale.

Private Interment will be at the convenience of Anne’s family.

Fr. Doney Chacko will preside.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anne’s name to Saint Paul Roman Catholic, 140 Walnut Street, Weirton, WV. 26062 or Saint Jude Roman Catholic Church, 710 Jefferson Ave, Glen Dale, WV. 26038.

Anne’s family would like to thank the staff at Welty House and the nurses of Amedisys Hospice for their very attentive care, love, and support they displayed during her stay.
