AUDREY LAFFEY
Audrey K. Laffey, a cherished mother, devoted wife, beloved sister, and doting grandmother, was born on November 10, 1947, in Wheeling, West Virginia.
She graced this world with her kindness and warmth until her passing on November 13, 2025.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Martin Thomas Laffey, who stood by her side through life’s journey. Their union, marked by love and respect, was a testament to enduring partnership. Audrey is also survived by her two children: Ryan James Laffey of Wheeling, Ashley Nicole (Don Smith) Laffey of Smithfield, and her treasured grandchild, Brighton James Smith, two devoted sisters, Theresa Comer of Wheeling, and Debbie (Gary) Schuetz, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on November 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with prayer service at 6:00 PM with Monsignor Bakhos Chidiac as celebrant at Schuetz Funeral Home located at 4719 Jacob St., Wheeling, WV.
