He was proceeded in death by his wife of 72 years, Irene P. (Lawrence) Anderson.

John is survived by his children; son Tom (Suzanne) of Pittsburgh, Pa, daughter Lori Myers (Joseph) of Madison, Ct, daughter Terri Cremo (Dmitri) of Melcroft, Pa and son John “Jack” of Columbus, Ohio and his former daughter in law, Carol Anderson; Grandchildren Kathryn Cyr, Elizabeth Hon, Joseph Myers, Emily Milch, Tommy Anderson, Stephanie Chambers and Jordan Anderson along with 20 great grandchildren, 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

Friends will be received on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 5-7 pm at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Rd, Wheeling, WV (304-232-2732).

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 10 am at Good Shepherd Nursing Home Chapel, Wheeling, WV with the Rev. Joel Grissom S.M. as celebrant. Internment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.

The Anderson Family would like to thank the entire staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home for the tremendous care, support, and love they provided to John.
