BARBARA ANN KEY

She was the daughter of the late Anthony “Tony” Byser and Sophia Mysliwiec Byser of Moundsville. Barbara was a retired Kindergarten Aide for Marshall County Schools.

Barbara was a Roman Catholic by faith, a long-time member of St. Jude Parish in Glen Dale, and a graduate of Moundsville High School.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony “Butch” Key; three daughters, Maria (Bryan) Minor of Wheeling, Teresa Key-Piciucco (Mario) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Krista Key (Todd) Mroczkowski of Lewis Center, Ohio; brother, Anthony Byser of Gloucester, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Joseph (Clare) Minor, Monica (Michael Harriman) Minor, Thomas (Daisy) Minor, Luke Minor, Jacob Mroczkowski, Isabelle Mrockzkowski, Nicholas Piciucco; and her faithful golden retriever, Bo.

The family would like to thank special friends, David and Marsha Surgent and Gary and Betsy Martin for their kindness and generosity.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 22, 2025 at 11am at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 912 7th Street Moundsville, with Fr. Priyesh Sebastian, MCBS, as celebrant.

Interment following at Riverview Mausoleum in Moundsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities West Virginia.
