CAROL REINACHER

Carol Sue (Miller) Reinacher, 80, of Wheeling, WV, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, at Liza’s Place in Wheeling surrounded by her family.

Born June 26, 1945, in Wheeling, Carol is the daughter of the late Dorothy Barte Miller and the late Woodrow G. Miller.

She was a proud graduate of Warwood High School, Class of 1963, where she loved playing saxophone in the marching band. She continued her education at West Liberty State College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a specialization in English/Language Arts. She later received her Master of Arts in Communication Studies from West Virginia University.

Carol devoted her life to education and to the children of her community. She taught at Warwood Grade School from 1975 until her retirement in 2007, touching countless lives with her warmth, humor, and deep commitment to her students.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Reinacher; her children, Lisa Holdren Bozarth (Brian), Lara Holdren (Brian Myers), and Ryan Williams (Kyra); stepsons, Shawn Reinacher (Jessica) and Joseph Reinacher (Cynthia); and her cherished grandchildren, Ethan Williams, Lydia Williams, Henry Bozarth, Matthew Reinacher, and Tyler Reinacher.

Carol is also survived by her siblings, Marjorie Angeles (Santiago), Robert Miller (Elaine), and Pamela Herndon (Richard), as well as her beloved nieces and nephews, Raina Angeles Clark, Hollie Angeles Busbee, Ben Miller, Clayton Miller, and Amanda Herndon.

Family and friends will be received Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 4 PM – 7 PM at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling (304-277-2722). Services will be held Friday, December 5, 2025, with interment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

Carol will be remembered for her dedication to education, her love for her family, and her gentle, caring spirit. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
