GERALDINE ROTH

She was born March 13, 1932, the daughter of the late Raymond and Georgia Gillespie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Howard Leroy Roth; siblings Betty Kachalo, Robert Gillespie, Mary Ann Dempsey, and Jerry Gillespie, and granddaughter Stacy McCafferty.

Survivors include her four daughters: Suzanne (Jim) Iaquinta of Bridgeport, WV, Carolyn (Dan) McCafferty of Moundsville WV, Shelley (Jim) Glatzer of Moundsville, WV, and Beth (Jeff) Lilley of Myrtle Beach, SC. Grandchildren include Justin (Marie) Iaquinta, James Iaquinta, Christina (Sean) Stuber, Sara (Mike) Saffell, Dana (Brian) White, Britney (Joshua) Brown, Tim (Wendy) Glatzer, Chris (Mami) Glatzer, and Anna Lilley. Great grandchildren include, Dylan and Devon Iaquinta, Savan, Aston, and Scottie Stuber, Hannah Tucker, Mya, Brynna, and Ella White, and Kendall Brown. Great-great grandchildren include Eli, Theo and Roman Tickner. She is also survived by her two sisters-in-law, Rosalie Gillespie of Benwood, WV, Connie Gillespie of Moundsville, and several nieces and nephews.

Geraldine was a long-time member of Calvary United Methodist Church of Moundsville, and enjoyed time with her bunco club for many years.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 19th from 4-6 pm at Grisell’s Funeral Home in Moundsville where a service will be held on Saturday, December 20 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Kara Rowe presiding. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV.
