RANDALL “RANDY” SCENNA
Randall “Randy” Joseph Scenna, 63, of Wellsburg, WV passed away December 23, 2025, at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV surrounded by his loving family.
Randy was born January 18, 1962, in Wheeling, WV to Katherine “Kitty” Simpson and the late Frank Scenna Jr. Randy retired from UPS after 37 years and took over his father’s barber shop Frank’s Hairquarters in Wheeling, WV, for the last 5 years.
Randy was one of the most kind and gentle persons that you would ever meet.
In addition to his father, Randy was preceded in death by his sister Rhonda Scenna, and grandson Robert Davis, stepmother Sara “Sally” Scenna, and mother-in-law Ella Mae “Sally” Platt.
Randy is survived by the love of his life Janet Louise Platt Scenna who he married March 23, 2003, Step-father Richard Simpson, two daughters Ashley Dodson (Wesley) of Louisiana, Katie E. Scenna of Weirton, WV, father-in-law George Platt, step-son Ian Varlas of Weirton, step-daughters Mary E. Varlas of Philadelphia, PA, and Emily Varlas of Follansbee, WV, three sisters Renae Hannon (Brian) of Raleigh, NC, Rochelle St Myers (Michael) of Wheeling, WV, Christina Scenna (Jason Sichi) of Pittsburgh, PA, cherished step-sister Erica Benda (Dave) of Wheeling, WV, several other step-siblings, brother-in- law Joe DelGuzzo, 10 grandchildren nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Visitation will take place Monday, December 29, 2025, from 2pm until the time of service at 4pm at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles Street, Wellsburg, WV, with Pastor Joseph F. Cuomo of the Christian Assembly of Follansbee, officiating.
