JOHN METZ
John Walter Metz, 91, of Wheeling, WV, died Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Continuous Care Center.
He was born August 27, 1934, in Wheeling, son of the late Walter and Elsie Frazier Metz.
John was a member of the Short Creek United Methodist Church. He enjoyed farming and coon hunting and loved his goats.
He is survived by his cousin and caretaker, Julie (Chris) Koehler; and several cousins.
There will be no services. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, will be held at the convenience of the family.
