MARIE RIGGENBACH
Marie Ellen Riggenbach, age 93, of Sardis, OH, went to meet her Maker on Monday, December 29, 2025, at New Martinsville Health and Rehab Center in New Martinsville, WV–where she had resided for many years–with her niece, Judy Riggenbach by her side.
She was born February 27, 1932, in Sardis, OH, a daughter of the late Ferdinand “Ferd” Riggenbach and Emma Riggenbach.
Marie attended the Apostolic Church of Sardis, OH. She was a charter member of the VFW 9930 Auxiliary in Duffy, OH. Marie enjoyed visiting with her friends and family, doing puzzle books, and spending time with her cat.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Riggenbach and Dale Riggenbach; and one sister, Mildred Riggenbach.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2026, from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church, 49076 SR 255, Sardis, OH with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will follow at the Apostolic Church Cemetery.
