TRACY COOK

She was born in Wheeling, WV on December 28, 1964, a daughter of the late Irvin and Martha (Osmianski) Ruckh. A devoted home health aide, Tracy dedicated her life to the care and comfort of others. Her gentle spirit and compassionate nature were a source of solace to many. Tracy was a faithful member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, where she attended services for many years. She was an avid animal lover, especially horses and dogs.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Carol Roscoe and a nephew, Roger Friery.

Tracy is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Eric Cook; three sons, Josh (Sarah) Cook, Michael Weisman and Zachary Weisman; four grandchildren, Alex Cook, Amanda Cook, Brently Weisman and Jensen Cook; her brother, Irvin “Bud” Ruckh; a nephew, Scott Friery, a niece Yolanda Ruckh and several great-nieces and nephews. Tracy will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, 1400 Eoff St., from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM, with a rosary service at 7:30 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 17, at 10 AM, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Enurnment will be held at a later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
