LINDA LEE

Linda was born in Wheeling, WV to the late Alex and Josephine Tarli Pizi. Linda was a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Goeddel.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James “Jim” Lee of Wellsburg, WV; two daughters, Stacy Mott and Matthew of Washington, New Jersey, and Amy Nickerson of Wellsburg, WV; two sisters, Donna Luikart, and Rita Villani, both of Pittsburgh, PA; and four grandchildren, Abigail Nickerson, Dylan, Ava and Alex Mott.

Linda was the heart of her family — her warmth, selflessness, and strength created a place where everyone felt at home.

She loved the simple joys in life – afternoons at wineries, breakfasts where the coffee and conversation never seemed to end, cheering at Pirate games, and soaking up sunny days on a float at the beach. If you knew Linda, you knew she and her best friend, Jim, were inseparable. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered in the positive thoughts she brought into our lives.

A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at noon at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, WV with Fr. Cyprian Osuegbu as Celebrant.
