RONALD ANDERSON

In addition to his parents Ron was preceded in death by his daughter Marci Ruth Anderson and his brother Phillip Anderson.

Surviving are his wife, Sally Bolen Anderson, his son, Rodney (Stephanie) Anderson of Morgantown. Grandchildren, Carter and Kaitlyn Anderson of Morgantown. Three stepchildren; Lee Bonar of New Martinsville, Kenny (Erica) Bonar of Sistersville, and Rachel (Mark) Hamilton of Hickory, NC. Seven step grandchildren; David (Lauren) Hamilton, Emma (Michael) Tozier, Kelsey (Austin) Vandine, Brandon Vaughn, and Isaac, Isabella and Imary Snider. Four step great grandchildren; Evie, Lilianna, Rowan and Addalynn.

Ron was an amazing husband, father and grandpa. He was a proud coal miner for 37 years, owned and operated Anderson Grocery and had his own excavating business. Ron enjoyed working on his farm with his cows, horses and farm equipment and he enjoyed when his friends would stop by his shop for a visit. Most of all he enjoyed his family where he played an active role in their lives.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to nurse Scott of WV Caring, Kianna Spencer who came daily as his caregiver, and Chuck Lemasters who checked on him daily.

Friends will be received on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 4-7:30 PM at Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove, WV. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Pine Grove. Interment at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Hastings, WV.
