THOMAS QUINN

Thomas “Tom” Goodwin Quinn, 84, of Moundsville, WV, passed away February 1, 2026. Born in Wheeling to the late Thomas and Virginia Goodwin Quinn, Tom attended Linsly Military Institute and Triadelphia High School, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was the founder of Mountaineer Excavating, and was active in many clubs throughout the area.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Hill) Quinn; sons, Ralph (Jenny) Quinn, Kevin (Leslie) Quinn; daughter, Tracee (Ikie) Chambers, Cindy (Bob) Wiedebusch, and Jennifer Spencer (Dave); four siblings; Melissa Good, Suzanne Quinn, Michael Quinn, and Patti Greneltch; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by, son Greg Quinn, and by four siblings; Amy McDonnell, Louise Symons, Kathleen Quinn, and Colin Quinn.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 8th from 1-4:00pm with service beginning at 4:00 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Moundsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall County Animal Shelter or a charity of your choice at www. TMCFunding.com.
