ANNA KEENAN
Anna Derr Keenan, 78, of Florida, died Thursday, January 29, 2026.
She was born May 7, 1947 in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Melvin Derr, Sr. and Anna Kimmey Derr.
Annie enjoyed collecting old bottles. Her greatest happiness came from being with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Derr, Sr; and sisters, Betty Derr Danhart and Blanche Derr.
She is survived by her sons, John Keenan and Jeff (Rhonda) Keenan; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Alfred Derr, Sr. and Melvin Derr, Jr.; and sisters, Mary Ann Nash, Earlene Bowman, Nancy Robson, Geraldine (Amos) Blosser and Lorena (Robert) Shaw.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11 AM with Pastor Frank Hay officiating at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311).
Interment to follow in Sand Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ye Olde Country Church of Faith, P.O. Box 2095, Wheeling, WV 26003.
