CAROL TEMPLIN

Templin, Carol Gene Clark, 80, of Triadelphia, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

She was born on May 21, 1945, in Triadelphia, WV, daughter of the late Albert “Bert” and Flossie Gail Delaney Clark.

Carol graduated from Triadelphia High School, was the co-owner of her family’s trucking company in Triadelphia, WV, and used to write articles for the West Alexander newspaper. Carol was a member of the CEOS Valley Grove Chapter, Wheeling Rellers, and the OV Prominaters. She also raised money for the Scouts to have skits and fundraisers. She was a Presbyterian by faith.

She was everyone’s mom, never knew a stranger, and kept in touch with everyone she knew. She remembered everyone’s birthdays and anniversaries and always made them special cakes, including wedding cakes.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her spouse, Paul Templin, Sr. in 2013; son, Jeffery Templin; two brothers, Robert Clark and Henry Clark; sister, Dorothy McCord; three nephews, Tom McCord, William Clark, and Mark Bond; two nieces, Melody Garrison and Annie Ward; and special friends, Aggie and Dallas Hall and Patsy Crow.

Carol is survived by her son, Paul “Richie” (Michelle) Templin, Jr., of Triadelphia, WV; sister, Esther Bond McCord of West Liberty, WV; grandchildren, Brooke (Stephen) Foster, Tyler (Keirsten) Templin, and Taylor Rogerson; three great-grandchil- dren, Carter Rogerson, Kinsley Foster, and Grey Templin; two nieces, Patricia (Michael) Reddy of Shelby, NC and Karen Coiner five nephews, Chip Bond, Albert Bond, Bobby (Tina) Clark, David (Mary) Clark, and Patrick Clark; many great- nieces and great- nephews; and special friends, Bob Crow, the Brian Wise family, and the Kenneth Craig family.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311) where services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 11 AM with Reverend Dennis Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in West Alexander Cemetery, West Alexander, PA. Lunch to follow.
