Carolyn Sue Rose, 77, of Weirton, WV, formerly of Wheeling, died Monday, March 23, 2026 at Grace Cottage in Weirton.
She was born November 30, 1948, in Wheeling, daughter of the late Elmer Byard and Mary White.
Carolyn was a pharmaceutical purchaser for OVMC for over 30 years and a member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Rose; brothers, Jack Turner and Roger Byrad; and sister, Rosalie Talbot.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Jane) Rose of Wheeling; daughter, Melanie (Ken) Wright of Weirton; and three grandchildren, Tyler and Lexie Wright and John Rose.
Friends and family will be received Friday, March 27, 2026 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 PM with Pastor Tim Crummitt officiating at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242- 2311).
Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
