ALBERT ‘JACK’ ESTEP
Albert John “Jack” Estep, age 88, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at the New Martinsville Health Care Center New Martinsville, WV.
He was born July 10, 1937, in Proctor, WV, a son of the late Anthony and Beulah Herrick Estep.
He was a retired mechanic for 41 years, at PPG Industries and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Holy Name Society and Moose Lodge #931 in New Martinsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gregory and David Estep.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Ruth Ankrom Estep; three sons, Timothy (Mirinda) Estep and Patrick Estep, both of New Martinsville, WV, and Thomas (Mary) Estep of Cummings, GA; four brothers, Raymond Estep of Proctor, WV, William Estep of New Martinsville, WV, Michael (Joan) Estep and Douglas (Suzanne) Estep, both of Proctor, WV; a sister, Mary Rose Yoho of Proctor, WV; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3-7 pm at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory 751 Third St. New Martinsville, WV, with a Rosary service at 7 pm.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 21 Rosary Road with Fr. Joseph Abraham as celebrant.
Private inurnment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park New Martinsville.
