BAILEY SONDA

Bailey was born on March 25, 2004, in Wheeling, West Virginia. He was the beloved son of Holly (Nolte) Sonda and the late Mark Alan Sonda.

A 2023 graduate of Wheeling Park High School, Bailey worked on his family farm, where he found genuine joy and pride in the hard work of farming. He loved being outdoors and had a deep appreciation for the simple things in life, especially time spent in the fields and with the people he cared about most. Bailey had a kind heart, a strong work ethic, and a quiet way of making others feel welcome and valued. He shared an unbreakable bond with his best friends, Lucas Nolte and Briar Provenzano, and could often be found riding dirt bikes with them, creating memories filled with laughter and adventure. Bailey will be remembered forever for his love of family, his loyalty to his friends, and the joy he brought to those around him.

In addition to his father, Bailey was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Sonda, and his maternal grandmother, Cecilia Newland.

In addition to his mother, Bailey is survived by his five siblings, Katelynn, Logan, Abigail, Madison, and Tucker; maternal grandfather, Rick Nolte; a paternal grandmother, Carolyn (Moore) Sonda; two uncles, Rick Nolte Jr. and Scott Sonda; two aunts, Becki Dillie and Mary Lucas; several cousins; his best friends, Lucas Nolte and Briar Provenzano; and his mother’s best friend, Melissa Roberts.

The Chambers Funeral Home of Wellsburg, West Virginia is honored and privileged to assist the family with private cremation arrangements. Bailey will be laid to rest on the family farm alongside his father.
