BARBARA VALENTINE
Barbara Marie Valentine, born on August 16, 1951, in Morgantown, WV, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, at the age of 74 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
A lifelong resident of Wheeling, WV, Barbara was known for her kind heart and gentle spirit, touching the lives of everyone she met.
A graduate of Triadelphia High School, Barbara cherished simple pleasures and found joy in the little things. She had a deep love for her dog, Cindy, who was her constant companion. Barbara enjoyed coloring, Chinese food, and indulging in M&Ms.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dr. Albert M. Valentine, MD, and Marie Sass Valentine. She is survived by her brothers, Albert M. (Brenda) Valentine and David M. Valentine. Her legacy continues through her nieces and nephews: Bridget Valentine, Brian (Brittney) Valentine, Rachael Valentine, and Travis (Liz) Valentine, as well as her great-nephews: Chase, Landon, Kade, Steele, and Rip Valentine.
Barbara’s kindness and warmth will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In accordance with her wishes, services will be private. Her family and friends will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
