JEROME ‘JERRY’ HERCHUCK
Jerome “Jerry” John Herchuck 87 of Wellsburg, WV passed away April 13, 2026, at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV. He was born November 14, 1938, in Punxsutawney, PA, to the late Alexander and Eva Herchuck. Jerry was an independent truck driver for many years before he went to drive for Yellow Freight where he retired after 25 years, he also drove the flatbed for Zatta Salvage Yard and was a Navy Veteran during Peacetime. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ellen Statler Herchuck, two daughters Jeri-Lyn Logue and Missi Kidd, a brother John Herchuck, and two sisters Mary Brochious and Helen Herchuck.
He is survived by his fiance Joanne Bain, a son Brian Herchuck (Tabatha) of Weirton, WV, stepson Travis Brightwell (Danielle), a daughter Melinda Masters (Brian) of Wheeling, WV, stepdaughter Rochelle Moore (Keith) Follansbee, WV, a sister Geraldine Grabenstein of Pittsburgh, PA, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 Noon at Reasner Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Tribett officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens with full military graveside rites by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad and the US Navy.
