LOUISE RIGGS
Louise Marie Taylor Riggs, 98 of Wellsburg, WV passed away April 7, 2026, at Wellsburg Health Care Center.
She was born March 22, 1928, in Rayland, OH to the late Lawrence “Patty” and Josephine LaCross Taylor.
She was a member of the Franklin United Methodist Church, several women’s clubs and was never shy about speaking her mind.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson A.J. Riggs, great granddaughter DeAnna, and her sister Elizabeth Taylor.
She is survived by her two sons Kenneth Riggs (Shari Doerr) of Wellsburg, WV and Ronald Riggs (JoAnn) of Henderson, NV, her brother Tucson LaCross (Mary Lou) of Rayland, OH, three grandchildren Linde Riggs, and Dawn Tibbs, and Yesmeen Riggs, a great grandchild Ciara and two great great grandchildren Brayden and Brooklyn also survive.
Visitation will take place on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV.
Funeral service, Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kendon Alexander officiating.
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
