Tammi Hickman
Tammi Sue Hickman, born on August 20, 1960, in Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away peacefully in her hometown on April 18, 2026, at the age of 65.
Tammi was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and unwavering faith. She spent her career as a dedicated clerk at the Exxon Station, where she was known for her warm smile and helpful nature.
Her passions were as varied as they were vibrant. Tammi found joy in swimming, reading, and crafting, particularly with her scroll saw, quilting, crocheting, and painting. She also enjoyed playing computer and board games, often sharing these moments with her beloved family and friends. Her grand dogs held a special place in her heart, and her strong faith in God was a guiding light throughout her life.
Tammi is preceded in death by her parents Conrad Carl and Clara Jane Chaddock; her nieces, Tori and Ashley; and her step-son, Larry.
She is survived by her loving husband, Grant Hickman; her cherished children, daughter Corbi Hickman and son Cody (Shell & Charlie) Hickman; her step-daughter, Heidi Hickman; and her adored grandchildren, Alondra Hickman, Walker Dulaney, and Lettie Dulaney. Tammi also leaves behind her dear sisters, Becki (Jim) Laflam and Vicki (Gary) Harter; her sister-in-law, Sue Criswell; her mother-in-law, Wanda Jean McCord; her nephews, Jesse (Danielle) Harter and their children Nya, Jesa, and Meya; Hutch (Keisha) Laflam and their children Aspen, Jaes, Ky-Lani, and Talia; her nieces, Carla (Adam) Arthur and their children Abigail and Zoe; and Rowan Criswell; and her honorary brothers, La Sayabath and Lair Manounyavong.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to time of memorial service at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 2, at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Elm Grove.
Tammi’s warmth, creativity, and faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
