TONY GESUALDO JR.

He was born May 6, 1931 in Wheeling, son of the late Tony Sr. and Pearl Myers Gesualdo.

Tony was a member of the Elm Grove Eagles-Aerie 1891, the American Legion Post 46 in Benwood, the PAP Club of South Wheeling, the Veterans Club of Warwood, and the VFW Post 4442 of Wheeling. Tony proudly served in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lucille “Lucy” Gesualdo; his grandson, John Arritt, Jr.; and his longtime companion, Jean Young.

Tony is survived by his children, Charles “Chuck” (Charlotte) Gesualdo, Cheryl “Cheri” (John) Arritt, Elizabeth “Beth” (Patrick) Nolan; his grandchildren, Brian (Megan) Gesualdo, Diane (Bob) Baker, Jamie Arritt, Nicole (Ronnie) May; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm, at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311). Funeral service will take place at the same location on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Park View Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Moundsville Veterans Honor Guard.
