LINDA PORTER

She was born September 21, 1944, in Philippi, WV, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Kedward McCammon.

She was a former account executive for the WWVA Jamboree USA; former secretary of Bethlehem United Presbyterian Church; loved painting and gardening; and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include; her husband of 61 years Thomas E. Porter; daughter, Tracy Porter (Douglas) Greene of Leesburg, VA; sons, Todd E. Porter of West Liberty, WV, Trent (Sandra) E. Porter of Wheeling, WV; grandchildren, Jessica Brewer, Brandon A. (Callie) Ferrell, Seth T. Porter, Sydnee C. Porter; step grandchildren, Michael Coram, Ashley Megela; and great grandchildren, Raiden Brewer, Sophie Ferrell, and Cameron Ferrell.

Family will receive friends Friday from 2:00pm until time of funeral service at 5:00pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory 1 Ridgecrest Rd Wheeling/Bethlehem with Pastor Sean Smith officiating.

Celebration of life immediately following the service at Grace Lutheran Church 16 Ridgecrest Road.

In honor of Linda’s vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to so many lives, the family invites everyone attending her service to wear colorful clothing as we celebrate her life, love, and the memories she gave us all.
