NANCY MCFARLAND

She was born on September 11, 1932, in Elm Grove, WV, daughter of the late Lee and Dorothy Wilson Day.

Nancy was a graduate of Triadelphia High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a lifelong member of Elm Grove United Methodist Church, where she served in many areas and was the past chairman of funeral luncheons.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Art” Ray McFarland; son, Stephen McFarland; and brother, Bob Day.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Judy (Rev. Neil Leftwich) McFarland of Wheeling, WV, Debbie (James) Lepage of Bennington, VT, and Joyce (Tim) Mudge of Greenville, NC; daughter-in-law, Melanie McFarland of Wheeling, WV; grandchildren, Eric McFarland, Andrew (Christina) Altman, Megan Lepage, Nicole (Todd) Siclari, Brian (Jessica) Lepage, Erin (Mark) Altman, Ryan (Kelsey McKeel) Mudge, and Max (Angelia) McFarland; great-grandchildren, Shane, Avery, Gracin, Laina, Walker, Griffin, Shaelen, Coren, and Sawyer; and her dog, Missy No No.

Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM with luncheon to follow at Elm Grove United Methodist Church, 125 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV with Rev. Debra Dague and Rev. Neil Leftwich officiating.
