Rosalie Conti
Rosalie Polsinelli Conti, 91, of Glen Dale, WV, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, May 17, 2026. She was born on January 9, 1935, in Benwood, WV, the daughter of the late Angelo and Rose Ann (Ridolfi) Polsinelli.
In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband Herman E. Conti, Jr.; brothers Joseph S. Polsinelli and Eugene J. Polsinelli; sister Virginia Polsinelli Matesic; and son-in-law Lance H. Crowley.
She leaves behind her daughters Katheryn Rose Conti of Pittsburgh, PA, and Gigi Conti Crowley of Upper St. Clair, PA; grandson Brendan H. Crowley of Upper St. Clair, PA; granddaughter Victoria Rosalie Crowley of Upper St. Clair, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosalie was the President and Founder of Professional Secretarial Services, Inc. and Charter Member and President of Business Professional Women’s Club. A recipient of the Rotary Paul Harris Fellow Medal and a Lifetime Member of the National PTA, she was also a member of the St. Jude Women’s Guild and the Red Hat Society of Moundsville.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 20, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm and again from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Homes Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday May 21 at 10:00 am at St. Jude Catholic Church in Glen Dale. Procession to Mt. Calvary Bishop’s Chapel in Wheeling will directly follow.
