BARBARA RIGGLE

She was born August 19, 1946, in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Carl E. and Mary E. Parker Whipkey.

Barbara was a retired CNA having worked at Cameron Nursing Home and provided in home health care. She also worked as an EMT for Cameron at one time.

She was a very active member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Moundsville where she was in the choir and played the chimes. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family and rooting on the Mountaineers and Steelers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde S. Riggle; a son, Raymond Rice; a brother, Phillip Whipkey; her stepmother, Anna Irene Whipkey; two grandsons, Dustin C. and Trevor C. Dougherty a granddaughter, Hannah Clark; a sister-in-law, Veronica Whipkey; and a step daughter, Robin Williams.

Survivors include two sons, Jay Hall of Morgantown and Richie (Allisha Fuscardo) Hall of Wheeling; a daughter, Barb (Marcos) Hollobaugh of Moundsville; four brothers, Clyde (Janet) Whipkey of Follansbee, WV Danny Whipkey of Moundsville, Mike (Sheila) Whipkey of Powhatan Point, OH and Greg (Sherry) Whipkey of Belpre, OH; a sister, Betty A. Neely; two step daughters, Shirley (Tim) Dulaney and Belinda West; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At Barbara’s request there will be no services. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
