CELIA KIEDAISCH
Celia Kiedaisch
Celia Ann “Cece” Kiedaisch, of Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on June 2, 1955, and raised on Wheeling Island, Cece was the daughter of the late Edward Front and Cecilia (James) Front. A graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, she remained deeply connected to the Wheeling community throughout her life. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and she was a devoted member of Blessed Trinity Parish and Christ United Methodist Church.
Cece built a successful career centered on serving others and creating meaningful relationships. She worked for Savage Construction, Wilson Furniture, WOMP- FM, and Chris Miller Furniture, where her warmth, professionalism, and friendly personality made a lasting impression on coworkers, customers, and friends alike. Known throughout the Ohio Valley for her friendly smile and outgoing personality, it seemed there was hardly a place she could go without running into someone she knew or someone stopping to talk with her. Cece never met a stranger, and the countless conversations, friendships, and memories she shared with others are a testament to a life well lived and a woman who was truly loved by so many. She loved spending time with her high school friends and her scrapbooking crew.
Above all, Cece’s greatest accomplishment and source of pride was her family. She shared 44 loving years of marriage with her husband, Gary Kiedaisch. Together they built a life rooted in faith, commitment, and devotion to one another. She was a loving mother to her son, Christopher Kiedaisch, and welcomed her daughter- in-law, Jaclyn (Hoffman) Kiedaisch, into the family with open arms.
Nothing brought Cece more joy than being a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, Kennedy and Baker, whose lives were brightened by her love, laughter, and constant support.
In addition to her parents, Cece was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Billye S. Front, and her niece, Teri Gilkerson.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Kiedaisch; her son, Christopher Kiedaisch, and daughter-in-law, Jaclyn (Hoffman) Kiedaisch; her beloved grandchildren, Kennedy and Baker; her brother, Robert J. Front; her niece, Jennifer (Front) Sams; her nephew, J.E. Front; and many dear friends.
Cece will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring heart touched countless lives and will be missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Cece’s life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements made by Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Cece’s memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 5757 Waterford District Drive, Suite 310, Miami, FL 33126.
