ROBIN POLANSKI
Robin L. Polanski, age 74, of Wheeling passed away at Moundview Health Care Center, Moundsville, WV on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
She was born May 24, 1952, in Wheeling, daughter of the late Lee and Louise Morgan Wensel.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister; Heather Pahlman.
Robin was a retired special education secretary for the Ohio County Board of Education, with 20 years of service.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Dave Polanski; one daughter, Amy (Eric) Burkle of Wheeling; one son, David (Amanda) Polanski of Yorkville, OH; one brother, Kirk (Peggy) Wensel of Wheeling; six grandchildren, Haley, Sydney and Liam Burkle and Madelyne, Aiden and Allee Polanski; two brothers-in-law, Mike (Sandy) Polanski of IL; Bob (JoAnn) Polanski of Wheeling; several nieces and nephews and special friend: Robin Schoene.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff of Moundview Health Care Center including Diane Miller and Brandi Orth.
There will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
