Neil Arthur Archer, 83, of Middlebourne, WV passed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Neil was born June 22, 1943, in Sistersville, WV son of the late Blaine and Elsie (Ankrom) Archer.
He was a retired railroad repairman for PPG, loved his grandchildren, enjoyed camping, bowling, baseball - Pittsburgh Pirates, football - The Steelers, former member of the Tyler County Fair Board, Lifetime member of Sistersville Elks Lodge No. 333, member of Middlebourne Lodge No. 34 A.F. & A.M., Tyler County Shriners Club, Nemesis Shriners of Parkersburg and member of LaZear Chapel Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nicola Sue (Richmond) Archer and brother, Odie Archer.
Surviving is his wife, Helen (Beagle) Archer; two sons, Neil A. Archer II of Middlebourne, WV and Nile A. (Julia) Archer of Middlebourne, WV; two daughters, Lisa (Josh) Pressley of Sistersville, WV and Suzanne (Rocco) Martis of Imperial, PA; brother, Don Archer of Sistersville, WV; six grandchildren, Silas Archer, Jenna Archer, Abby Denny, Avery Martis, Andrew Martis and Dakota Pressley; four great grandchildren, Ryder Archer, Reese Archer, Kennedi Wells and Archer Denny and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 4-8 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2026 at the Furbee Williams Funeral Home, 217 Main St., Middlebourne, where services will be held 11 a.m., July 7, 2026 with Pastor Chuck Sapp officiating with burial to follow in Middlebourne Cemetery.
