William A. "Bill" Estep, age 87, of New Martinsville, WV, died peacefully Monday, July 27, 2026, at WVU Medicine Wetzel County Hospital New Martinsville, WV.
He was born May 1, 1939, in Proctor, WV, a son of the late Anthony and Beulah Herrick Estep.
He was a retired employee of Ormet Corp. with 42 years of service and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Holy Name Society.
Bill enjoyed spending time outdoors and traveling. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who cherished the time he spent with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ann Null Estep and three brothers, Gregory, David and Albert "Jack" Estep.
Survivors include his loving companion of many years, Rose Morris; son, Richard (Dorothy) Estep of Paden City, WV; four daughters, Cathy (Steve) Hohman of Proctor, WV, Beth (Donnie) Blatt of Centerburg, OH, Theresa (Eugene) Bragano of Oakdale, PA, and Judy (Bentley) Knight of New Martinsville, WV; three brothers, Raymond Estep, Michael (Joan) Estep, Douglas (Suzanne) Estep, a sister, Mary Rose Yoho, all of Proctor, WV, and sister-in-law Ruth Ann Estep, of New Martinsville; 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-8 pm at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory 751 Third St. New Martinsville, WV, with a rosary service at 7:30 pm.
Funeral Liturgy with mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 11am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 21 Rosary Rd New Martinsville, WV with Fr. Joseph Abraham as celebrant.
Private inurnment at Northview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
