Brenda Sue Robinson, age 65, of Sherrard, WV passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Moundsville Health Care Center.
She was born on October 21, 1960 in Glen Dale, WV the daughter of the late Raymond and Betty Edge West.
She was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Moundsville.
She was a devoted wife, sister, sister-in- law, and aunt who lived her life with love, devotion, and kindness.
Brenda worked as a hairdresser and pharmacy technician as part of her career, but she devoted most of her career as an administrative assistant to Dr. M.F. Anwar at the Anwar Eye Center where she will be remembered for her many acts of kindness to the patients of the center.
She was a very loyal Pittsburgh Steelers and WVU Mountaineers fan as well as a NASCAR enthusiast.
Brenda is fondly remembered for cooking and baking, which was enjoyed by her extended family and friends, especially her brothers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Thomas "Brad" Robinson; and her loving pets, Sheena and Lacy who she referred to as her children.
Survivors include three brothers, Kim (Bev) West of Wheeling, Greg West of Moundsville, and Brad (Cindy) West of Wheeling; her nieces and nephews, Rick (Sarah) West of Union City, TN, Keri (Scott) Adams of Greenfield, TN, Greg (Jamie) West of Hammondsville, OH, Matt West of Moundsville, Jeff (Alicia) West of Leetonia, OH, Michael West of Mt. Olivet, Chad (Andrea) West of Alexandria, VA, and Brianne (Cody) McCutheon of Wheeling; an several great nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 22nd from 4-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wesley Howsare officiating.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville, WV.
