Joan Peters Landon, 95, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Continuous Care Center in Wheeling.
She was born February 15, 1931 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Jacob and Hilda Kellermyer Peters.
Joan was a member of Living Word Church of Wheeling, a talented artist, a cat lover, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Landon; her brother, William (Ruth) Peters; her sisters, Betty (Walter) Driscoll and Ruth (Clyde) Orr.
Joan is survived by 1 niece and 1 nephew; multiple great-nieces and nephews, as well as great-great-nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. Entombment to follow.
