Adrian Eugene Younger, 78, of Glen Dale, WV; died Monday, September 21, 2026 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born February 5, 1948 in Moundsville; the son of the late Arthur Eugene and Blanche Ovies Younger.
Adrian was a retired microbiology teacher from John Marshall High School; he graduated from West Liberty College with a Bachelor's degree and West Virginia University with a Master's degree. He was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity, Moundsville Country Club, Moundsville Hunting and Fish Club, Lewis Wetzel Rifle and Pistol Club, and Trinity Episcopal Church; he coached wrestling at Moundsville and Union Junior High Schools and golf at John Marshall High School.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Crow Younger; two children, Donald (Teresa) Younger and Katey (Brant) Harbert; one stepson, Ralph (Ciera) Howe III; one brother, Michael (Wendy) Younger; three grandchildren, Kaleb Younger, Alexander Harbert, and Saylah Howe; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
