Betty B. Dishman, born on January 27, 1932, in Wind Ridge, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, at the age of 94, at the Moundsville Healthcare Center. Her passing marks the end of a long and fulfilling life dedicated to her family and faith.

Betty was a devoted homemaker, whose life was enriched by her love for sewing and quilting. A member of the Garden Club and Homemakers Club, Betty found joy in nurturing both plants and friendships. She was a longstanding member of the Washington Lands United Methodist Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frederick "Dink" Dishman; her parents, Raymond and Freda Guthrie; her daughter, Janet Hackett; her grandson, Daniel Doty; and her siblings, Mildred "Scooge" Allen, Charles "Chuck" Guthrie, Norma "Tib" Fox, Marlene Campbell, and Deanna "Dean" Hooker.

She is survived by her children, Fred Dishman and Pam Doty; her cherished grandchildren, Cortney Hackett, Eric Doty, and Justin Doty; her sister, Shirley Gray; and several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lute & Kirby-Vance Chapel, located at 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, WV. Interment will immediately follow at Riverview Cemetery, Round Bottom Hill, Moundsville, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to KitAty Komrades, PO Box 6, Glen Dale, WV 26038, in honor of Betty's love for animals.

Betty B. Dishman will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her community, and her faith. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
