Marilyn M. Groome, age 78, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Monday, September 7, 2026, at WVU Wheeling Hospital.
She was born June 23, 1948, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Waznis Przelenski.
She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and also attended St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
She enjoyed caring for her parents, children, and grandson. She loved attending yard sales and weekly dinner parties with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Joyce Przelenski.
Survivors include her two daughters, Michelle (Thomas) Miller and Jennifer (James) Loudermilk both of Glen Dale, WV; grandson, Jamie Loudermilk; numerous cousins; and several grand kitties.
Family will receive friends Monday, September 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory 1 Ridgecrest Rd, Wheeling/Bethlehem.
Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling, WV.
