Mona "Jean" Clark, 90, of Moundville; passed away, Thursday, September 24, 2026 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born January 6, 1936 in Glen Dale; the daughter of the late Russell J. Clegg and Constance Simmons.
Jean worked at Super X Drugs for 26 years; was a greeter at Grisell Funeral Home; a member of the First Christian Church in Moundsville; active in the Christian Action Committee at church; and played euchre several times a month.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Clark; her twin sister, Joan Joseph; and her sister, BJ Herran.
Survivors include four children, David (Patty) Owens of Moundsville, Constance (Dr. Kevin) Hughes of Charleston, SC, Teresa G. Owens of Rogersville, PA, and Carol J. Owens of Glen Dale; four grandchildren, Cara Owens, Megan (Mohamed) Elnouty; Martin Maness; and Barrett Pratt; seven great-grandchildren, Malicky Schrumpf, Aidan Schrumpf, Jackson Ahr, Aubrey Butler, Kenzy Elnouty, Jarrett Butler, and Nelly Elnouty; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 3-7pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville, WV, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11am with Rev. Wesley Howsare officiating.
Interment will follow in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park.
