Rosemary Civin, daughter of Lawrence and Helen Schafer was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on April 27, 1931. She attended Mount de Chantal Academy High School. After graduating she attended St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing to earn her Registered Nursing degree. In 1954 she married Louis Civin of Bellaire, Ohio. They were married for 71 years until his death seven weeks before her own. Together they had two children, Mark and Alan. She is survived by her sons, daughter-in-law, Eileen and two grandsons, Bryce and Mackenzie. Through the years Rosemary was a proud registered nurse, who worked at Ohio Valley General Hospital and finally at the Bellaire Clinic where she retired as Director of Nursing in 1990 before moving to Jupiter, Florida with Louis. They both entered Discovery Commons Assisted Living in Hobe Sound, FL in 2022 where they spent their final days.
Both Rosemary and Louis will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetary in West Virginia on what would have been their 72nd wedding anniversary, October 30, 2026.
