Arthur L. "Butch" Waryck, age 94, of Glen Dale, WV passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at home with his family by his side.
He was born on December 20, 1931, in Glen Dale, WV, the son of the late Edward, Sr. and Ann Sovich Waryck.
Arthur graduated from Union High School in 1949 and would join the Air Force from 1952-1956 where he served in the Korean War with the 31 Fighter Squad obtaining the rank as SSGT; and was a retired lab worker and pollution control specialist with Allied/Olin Chemical Plant.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting arrowheads and other archaeological finds; and was a Christian by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy H. Waryck in 1964 and his second wife, Dorothy A. Waryck in 2016; and a brother, Edward "Junior" Waryck.
Survivors include a son, Arthur Michael (Debbie) Waryck of Glen Dale, WV; three daughters, Deborah L. (Robert) Combs of Moundsville, Patricia A. (Denny) Gilbert of Glen Dale, and Dee Dee Barbour of Glen Dale; five grandchildren, Heather (Dave) Butler, Jason (Dawn) Combs, Janaya (Jake) Conjeski, Carson Barbour and Leighann Waryck; six great grandchildren, Wesley, Jocelyn, Mason, Logan, Luke, and Kira; and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held with Military Honors at Riverview Cemetery in Moundsville.
